CadPilot is a product by softwarefabrik.io. It grew out of the open-source catia-v5-mcp-server and was built into a tool for vehicle development: with tests, protection of original data, effect checks, a rule system and a first real test job from practice.

Founder & Lead Developer · Software Architect

Martin Janda designs and implements CadPilot himself. He is a software architect with more than three decades of experience between mainframe and cloud (Java/Spring, Python, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes) and builds the Agentic Software Factory (softwarefabrik.io), a local control plane for AI-assisted software development with monitored agent runs and an automated quality gate. Background in finance (Diplom-Kaufmann, business informatics); certifications include iSAQB CPSA-F (software architecture), CKAD and Certified Ethical Hacker.

Senior Automotive Engineering Advisor

Automotive product-development and CATIA domain expertise

The engineering domain side is supported by a senior vehicle-development expert with more than 30 years of experience, roughly two decades of them in engineering leadership – across body-in-white, doors and closures, exterior and roof systems, vehicle and body integration and industrialisation, from concept to series production, with CATIA. Experience at several European manufacturers of premium cars and commercial vehicles and in working with engineering service providers.
